March 15, 2015 Comparison of the 2 Houston newspapers inserts(coupons)
Everyone is always asking me " Well which coupons booklets are best ? The ones in the Chronicle or the ones in the LA VOZ. So i decided to do a comparison of the two papers today.
Here is the spread sheet for March 15, 2015
This is the red plum insert.
All coupons are listed, if they are colored yellow they are only in the houston Chronicle, if the line is white they are in both inserts.
if you will look at the far left toward the bottom, you will see numbers, those are the coupons that were unique to the houston area only.

Basically the Red plum is only missing 2 coupons from the La voz that are in the Chronicle
And The red plum had 4 more coupons than were listed in any data base from any other city, they are listed at the bottom
The Smart Source Chronicle VErsion has 25 more coupons that the la voz version
They both have 21 coupons that are unique to the houston area and are listed at the bottom of the spread sheet
So there you have a analysis of the differences between the Chronicle Inserts and the La Voz inserts for this weekend.

The Houston Chronicle had 114 more coupons this week than the La Voz newspaper
There were 16 coupons listed on the National preview that we did not get in either paper in Houston. There were a total of 350 coupons in this Houston Chronicle. Yeah coupons.
We did g a target only insert in some papers it depended on what zip code you live in I think, as it was not in all the newspapers that I looked at. Below is a list of all coupons for the Chronicle, that we received.

The two red plum shown above are marked on the spine smc (select market coverage) and they wer found in the weekly, the la voz, and all the little newspapers from the surrounding towns little papers. There are 20 coupons in these 2 inserts that are not listed on the Sunday Coupon Preview that we all see on the net. ANd TRuvia is 25 cents higher than listed on the preview.And Fiora is only $.55 where it was listed at a $1 in the preview.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
The P&G comes out this weekend, or is already out depending on what newspaper you read. The Memorial Examiner was thrown in my yard on Christmas Day with the PG inside. It will be in all the newspapers this weekend.

Summary: If you got the REd Plum at your apt ( called stamped mail) or in the Wednesday Chronicle
It has the same coupoms as the La Voz red Plum except it doesn't have the 2 Dog Food Coupons.You also got 6 coupons not listed in the Sunday Preview. THe chronicle Red Plum from the Sunday Chronicle has 10 more coupons than the La Voz.
The SMart Source La Voz has 16 coupons not listed in the Sunday preview and the HC has 18 not listed in the sunday preview. The chronicle Smart Source has 11 more coupons than the La Voz
